Product description

Highly concentrated solution for adding fluoride if there are deficits in the aquarium.

Fluorine is a halogen that primarily strengthens and hardens calcium-rich skeletons. The trace element is important for metabolism and growth, and it also has an inhibitory effect on bacteria and algae. It also affects the blue coloration of many corals. It is found in the sea in low concentration levels of 1.2-1.5 mg/l(ppm). In seawater, fluorine is found in the form of fluoride. This element cannot be detected with the ICP analysis and must be measured separately via IC/ISE/HSA.

Application & Dosage

10 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. aquarium volume increases the fluoride content by 0.2mg/l (ppm).

Maximum dosage: 20 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. (adding 0.4 mg/l (ppm)) daily.

Other product recommendations

Iodine,bromine and selenium are consumed in the same ratio as fluorine, therefore we recommend adding them at the same time. For easy dosing of these elements with just a single solution, we recommend Tropic Marin® Block Iodine.
