ZOOTON

Plankton substitute for hard corals and other zooplankton feeders

Features:

Plankton substitute for hard corals and other zooplankton feeders

Like fish, corals and other filter feeders require nutrients for their growth and well being. Natural zooplankton is an important energy and nutrient source for hard corals and other filter feeders. In the sea zooplankter primarily move at night from deeper water layers to the reef coral habitat. In a reef aquarium it is important to offer this natural wealth of plankton to the coral in a manner that is as natural as possible.

ZOOTON is a balanced zooplankton substitute for hard corals, especially small polyp hard corals, in the marine aquarium. It consists mainly of selected marine ingredients and is rich in trace elements and minerals from the sea. Spirulina is rich in carotenoids and together with brewers yeast it satisfies the demand for natural B-vitamins especially vitamin B12.
